In a large bowl, stir together oats and chocolate rice cereal and salt. Set Aside.

In a small sauce pan, stir together coconut oil and maple syrup. Heat over medium heat until starts boiling, stirring frequently. Once it begins to boil, let it boil for 1 more minute. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.

Pour hot mixture over dry ingredients and mix thoroughly until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Pour into a parchment-lined 9×13 pan and use a spoon to make flat and compress squares. Let set in the freezer for about an hour or until set.

Cut into bars and store in an airtight container. These bars will get softer and crumbly when they're stored at room temperature for too long, so make sure to keep them chilled!

• 2 1/4 Cups Large Flake Oats

• 2 1/4 Cups Organic Chocolate Rice Krispies The organic brand is crunchier

• 1/2 Cup Refined Coconut Oil Refined has no coconut flavour

• 2/3 Cup Maple Syrup

• 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
